Oltre al Forest Green Rovers a passare il turno è anche il Chesterfield che elimina per 2-0 l’AFC Wimbledon. Nessun problema per lo Stevenage che elimina il King’s Lynn (3-0), così come per il Wrexham che liquida il Farnborough 4-1 grazie ad una tripletta di Mullin.
La sopresa più grande arriva dal Boreham Wood che è riuscito ad eliminare il Bristol Rovers così da raggiungere per la terza volta consecutiva il terzo turno di FA Cup. Soffre molto il Walsall che trova la vittoria solo all’88 minuto sul Carlisle.

“Non potrei essere più orgoglioso di così” – ha dichiarato l’allenatore del Boreham Wood Luke Garrard – “molti sono gli stessi giocatori che ci hanno permesso di giocarci il quinto turno contro l’Everton. Quello fu un traguardo incredibile, ma anche quello che abbiamo ottenuto oggi non è da poco.
